Ruth Hampton (she/her) is a queer Toronto-based freelance digital illustrator. Her work is featured by local businesses and community event organizers, with recent projects including digital posters, menu design, and branded merchandise. Her illustrations can also be found in print media, in the Queering and Shameless magazines.

Along with freelance illustration, Ruth also shows her work in art fairs, setting up in Toronto and Saskatoon throughout the year.

Originally from Saskatoon, Ruth moved to British Columbia in 2011 to pursue her education, receiving her BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2019. In 2022 she moved to Toronto, where she currently resides in the West End, on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. In her spare time she enjoys listening to audiobooks and making stickers.
